Paypal finally responds

After quietly watching all the recent moves from Google, Paypal is finally coming out with some real plans to counter the rapidly emerging threat. According to MarketWatch, Paypal is getting together with Yahoo to build a new featureset that “provides merchants and advertisers a more streamlined process” for online payments. Among other things, this would result in Paypal logo showing up in the sponsored search results at Yahoo, which will something similar to Google has been doing for few months now. The deal can be very significant for Paypal since Yahoo has 27.5% (although decreasing month-on-month) share of the search market in US.
